The Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia is a Level 1 Trauma Center that provides care and treatment to patients with critical injuries. For “extra-ordinary” responses that are needed in the field, they dispatch the Trauma Support Unit (TSU). The TSU is a non-transport, non-profit ambulance outfitted to treat the most extreme cases ranging from extended entrapments to field amputations. When TSU needed an iv fluid warmer they chose the Smithworks Soft Sack. Smithworks is proud to be included among the tools deemed necessary to extend care and treatment aboard Einstein’s TSU Ambulance.
